I'm Serena Fabbrizi and I live in the Maldives for 8 months of the year aboard my boat, Flying Fish. I'm a diving instructor and my job is organizing cruises and accompanying people in their discovery of these wonderful places.

It's common question that I received , Serena how did you start with Maldives? It's a story that I will tell you in detail, if you wish to hear.. maybe at sunset while sitting in the prow of the Flying Fish sipping a glass of wine. For now I will tell you only a small part of the story! It was 2001 I came in holiday on boat trip in the Maldives and changed my life, that time I saw my Maldivian Dream. A strong passion drove me into this adventure. Crystal clear seas and the beauty of its unique sea beds, the unspoilt nature of its islands, white coral sand and lush green palms. Most importantly, the great freedom that reigns in these places, here in the Maldives I have seen all of this. Thus I achieved my dream, the means to live here by changing my unyielding passion into a job.

Me and Licia Colò. At the end of 2002, I had become a scuba instructor and worked with an Italian tour operator on a island resort south of Ari name Dhiffushi. That's where I had the pleasure of personally meeting with Licia Colo', a T.V. Anchor woman. She got quite enthusiastic about my tale and asked if she could interview me. This interview was aired quite a few times on the italian television program “Alle Falde del Kilimangiaro” (At the slopes of Kilimanjaro). At that time, I never would have thought that my life and work would continue to this day in the Maldives.
